Diploma thesis deals with design of a new bridge on motorway D48 located on bypass of Frýdek – Místek. Total spread of the bridge is 113 meters. Thesis includes 3 studies. For next assesment was chosen concrete girder box construction with 3 spans. Bridge is bulit on falsework. Structural analysis includes influences of construction by TDA method. Load effect is solved in Scia Engineer 18.0. The assessment of the bridge was made according to EC.
Bridge over the I/55 road and railway line
Gross, Tomáš ; Pachl, Radek (referee) ; Panáček, Josef (advisor)
The main aim of the diploma thesis is a design of two bridges on D1 highway (Říkovice – Přerov). Structural system of these two bridges is a seven spans continuous beam. The bridges span the rail track and road I/35. The structural system of these two bridges is identical. The preliminary design is processed in two options. The first one considers the use of post-tensioned pre-casted beams PETRA with cast-in place cross beams and composite bridge deck. The second draft considers the use of two slab-beam with the cross beams. Effects of loads were calculated in SCIA Engineer program. The build-up phases were assessed by TDA method. The assessment of the structure was made according to EC.
Design of a road bridge
Barkáč, Erik ; Diviš, Dalibor (referee) ; Panáček, Josef (advisor)
The subject of this diploma thesis is the design and analysis of a bridge at the R48 bypass over the Ostravica River. For this purpose, three variants of the supporting structure solution were developed from which a variant of additionally prestressed chamber girder with perpendicular walls was selected. The main task is to assess the construction for phased construction. The static calculation was drawn up according to European
D3 motorway bridge at km 33,588 in Slovakia
Lipovský, Václav ; Řeřucha, Kamil (referee) ; Koláček, Jan (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the design of a motorway bridge carrying the D3 motorway over a deep valley between Svrčinovec and Skalité. Three variants were developed for this work, from which the variant of a prestressed box girder bridge with sloping walls was selected for a detailed solution. The main superstructure was designed as a continuous structure with five spans of post-tensioned concrete. The superstructure is concreted in phases by means of an movable scaffolding system. The total length of the supporting structure is 255.50 m. The bridge is straight in plan. The analysis of the structure was carried out by means of several models that were created in Scia Engineer 21.1. The assessments of ultimate limit state and serviceability limit state were made according to valid standarts. The analysis of the structure was carried out in longitudinal and transverse directions. This thesis also includes a time dependent analysis (TDA) that takes the construciton phases into account. Finally, drawings and visualizations were produced.
Bridge ower the Opavice river
Tang, Minh Phú ; Russnák, Adam (referee) ; Panáček, Josef (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the design of a road bridge on the I/57 expressway over the relocation of the cycle path, the Opavice river and the local road, which involves the relocation of the access to the waterworks. The bridge structure is located in the territory of the town of Krnov. A study of the area's bridges is part of the project and three studies have been prepared. Study A was chosen for detailed processing. It is a continuous box girder bridge with three spans. The superstructure is designed as a monolithic, post-tensioned structure. A sliding girder is being investigated for the structure's construction. Scia Engineer 18.1 is used to do the load effects computation. Only the consequences of vertical load effects have been addressed, with no consideration of horizontal load effects. The structure was evaluated using limit states, taking into account the impact of construction on its design.
Overpass bridge across the expressway
Beran, Jakub ; Zlatuška, Karel (referee) ; Nečas, Radim (advisor)
The topic of this thesis is detailed design of the supporting structure of a bridge. The final design is chosen out of three variants. It is a single beam structure consisting of 6 spans. The supporting structure is prestressed concrete with post-tensioning technology, the impact of phased construction is considered. the subject of the expertise of the structure is ultimate limit state, as well as service limit state, designed according to the code. The thesis also contains drawings, visualization and Engineering Report of the structure.
Design of highway bridge
Luberová, Lucie ; Formánek, Ing Martin (referee) ; Zich, Miloš (advisor)
The subject of this bachelo r’s thesis is the design a new supporting bridge construction in Prešovský kraj, district Levoča the territory of Slovak Republic. This object is located on the highway D 26,5/120, at kilometer 13,499 795 and communication of third class – 131-00 bridges. The objective is the design of a perpendicular four-span construction, which is proposed in three variants. The first variant is a chamber girder with inclined walls from post-tensioned concrete height 2,480 m. The second variant is composed of two beamed cross-section and the third variant is composed of one beamed cross-section. For detailed assessment the first variant was chosen with a length of bridging of 166,000 m. The calculation of load effects is done by software Scia Engineer and compared with a manual calculation according to current standards. This bridge is designed according to limit states, construction´s influence on design is taking into consideration. Structural analysis, well arranged drawings and visualization are elaborated in this thesis too.
Modelling the wireless transmission channel in OPNET Modeler simulation environment
Spiglazova, Světlana ; Koutný, Martin (referee) ; Hošek, Jiří (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with modeling wireless transmission in simulation environment OPNET Modeler. In theoretical part, there is described the very substance of spreading the signal via electromagnetic wave including impact of the surroundings that affects the spreading. These impacts have an influence on described selected parameters of wireless transmission of the signal characterizing its quality. Furthermore, there is described the OPNET Modeler setting, which allows designing the wireless transmission and by means of simulation verifies its functionality and acquires it is parameters. The transmission of the signal from transmitter to receiver itself is divided to individual steps, which are described in detail considering the implementation in aforementioned environment. In practical part, there is configured the basic model of wireless network and also executed series of simulations with different variants of commonly adjustable basic parameters of the transmission, as signal modulation, antenna types and network topology. Additionally, attention is turned to the stages of transmission itself, philosophy of their cooperation based on sharing the information via data units called TDA and their implementation in source code of the C++ language called transmission models. Based on these foundations is beyond beforehand defined created new user TDA and by means of simulation verified its correct implementation within packet switching. Values of the selected including user TDA are written in the window of simulation console with the help of the C++ language. Acquired results of the simulations are analyzed and documented in the conclusion. Source codes are available in the diploma thesis appendix.
